Will at least one European country introduce new food labels by Jan 2020 to mark a minimum age for certain snacks based on the amount of sugar & fat?
The war between regulators and companies continues... Health concerns and nutritional awareness have meant regulators are battling with companies on their food packaging. Similarly, with the fight with tobacco companies, food companies may have to create packaging that warns consumers how healthy or unhealthy the products that is being ingested into their body.
There is already an adoption of packaging policies that companies need to comply with in terms of nutritional value, ingredients, etc. Additionally, many public areas are beginning to remove fatty and sugary snacks from their canteens or vending machines. Are regulators going to continue the trend and introduce a label that warns parents of health risks of Snacks(i.e. Sodas, Cookies, Chocolate, and Chips) by setting age recommendations for their children?

Metaculus help: Community Stats
Use the community stats to get a better sense of the community consensus (or lack thereof) for this question. Sometimes people have wildly different ideas about the likely outcomes, and sometimes people are in close agreement. There are even times when the community seems very certain of uncertainty, like when everyone agrees that event is only 50% likely to happen.
When you make a prediction, check the community stats to see where you land. If your prediction is an outlier, might there be something you're overlooking that others have seen? Or do you have special insight that others are lacking? Either way, it might be a good idea to join the discussion in the comments.
